Site Shutdown Goes Wrong

Over the 4th of July weekend my work site in South San Jose shut everything down so that maintenance could be done to the power system. Well things went badly and they ended up keeping the entire site, which I'd guess about 2000 people or so work at, down through Wednesday morning. Doh! I wonder how much productivity was lost? I was able to work and do most things that I needed to, but I'm guessing quite a few people were dead in the water.
